In all cases, The Rio Grande Valley Philanthropic Foundation works with individual donors and professional advisors to create funds that meet unique philanthropic and estate-planning needs.

Scholarship Funds

These funds enable the Rio Grande Valley Philanthropic Foundation to meet the community’s most pressing needs that often cannot be anticipated by at the time the gift is made.
Designated Funds
These funds are created to benefit specific non-profit organizations or purpose in perpetuity. Also, non-profit organizations may establish their own endowments with the foundation providing permanent structure and professional investment management.
Field of Interest
Field of Interest funds allow the donor to support a particular broad charitable cause, such as cancer research, arts, youth programs the disabled to name a few.
Pass-Through Funds
Pass-Through funds can be established to allow a gift to the Foundation to “pass through” to their favored charity. This may be appropriate when anonymity is important, unique property is gifted, many gifts are planned from a single asset, or in other unusual circumstances.
